SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AT BOOST!

Our approach to working with children and families is integrative, which means we pull from many therapy styles and modalities to accommodate the unique circumstances, goals, and personalities of the individuals we treat. Our therapists have received training in a range of therapy orientations and techniques including: Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal/relational therapy.

When working with a client/family we will develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses the needs at hand. This is a collaborative process with goal-setting and evaluation as part of the work. The relationship between clinician and client/family is critical and communication will be a key component of the process right from the start.

The therapeutic process for children is most effective when a team approach is taken. At Boost! we always strive to support a student at home and school by working with parents, teachers and other involved professionals to coordinate care and assure the best outcomes. When appropriate, various professionals from Boost! can work together to support a family.
