Jessiah Mellott

Jessiah Mellott is a certified life coach who has a passion for helping young people find meaning and purpose through critical thinking, empathy, storytelling, and organized sports. He has worked in elementary, middle, and high schools in the US in various roles. He is particularly focused on working with young athletes, as well as secondary and post-secondary students who are struggling with the overstimulating and fractured nature of the digital age. Jessiah has worked part-time with a teen identity development program called Yourself Series and developed his own youth wellness and personal development program called Still Human. Jessiah has also taught ESL in Busan, South Korea, and English Language and Literature at the United World College in Changshu, China. He then earned his Master’s in Advanced English Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain and continued teaching IB English Literature in Weimar, Germany. Jessiah has also played various sports and coached basketball at many levels in multiple settings, using sports as a means of developing character and focus.
